Bio-inspired Design of Intelligent Materials
Several examples of sensors and actuators inherent in biological species are reviewed with emphasis on their mechanisms for a given set of stimuli. Examples include, action plants (Venus flytrap, Cucumber tendrils) and bamboo, and algae. Based on theses examples and their mechanisms, we designed artificial actuators, FGM piezo actuators and electroactive polymer actuators.
متن کاملDesign and Implementation of an Intelligent Part of Speech Generator
The aim of this paper is to report on an attempt to design and implement an intelligent system capable of generating the correct part of speech for a given sentence while the sentence is totally new to the system and not stored in any database available to the system. It follows the same steps a normal individual does to provide the correct parts of speech using a natural language processor. It...
متن کاملDesign of an Intelligent System for Evaluation of Science Parks
The science parks have important role in development of technology and are able to make economic growth of the countries. The purpose of this paper is the presentation of a Fuzzy Expert System (FIS) as Intelligent Systems to evaluate the science and technology parks. One of the problems for evaluating Science and Technology parks is to have the high number of criteria and science parks which AH...
متن کاملIntelligent design assistance with SEA
This paper demonstrates how design assistance for engineering processes of computer based systems is realized with the SEA-Environment. SEA allows to specify engineering processes in an unambiguous way using extended Predicate/Transition Nets (Pr/T Nets) as underlying formal model. Since Pr/T Nets are executable, tool support for a design process is realized easily via simulation of the process...
